Thank you

“In the end
these things matter most:
How well did you love?
How fully did you live?
How deeply did you let go?”

Siddhārtha Gautama (The Buddha)

Over the years I have studied with many wonderful teachers for which I am very grateful. It has lead to this grouping of tools that help us to unwind accumulated tensions and build on the potential of optimal healthy movement.

As well as thanking my teachers I wanted to thank you for coming along to classes. I have so enjoyed our time together and thank you for joining me on the evolution of this way of taking care of ourselves. I have more studies planned for next year - continuing my biomechanics education and extending my Somatics training. We hope to bring Martha Peterson from Essential Somatics to Ocean Grove so that you can all have the opportunity to do a class with one of the worlds great Somatic teachers.

I thank Louise and John from the bottom of my heart for building the beautiful KYO Studios and sharing such a love filled and magical place.

I thank Jenny and Allegonda for supporting me in classes this year. They've done great work and I encourage you to go along to Jenny's classes in Queenscliff over summer. You can book them individually and they would make a great Christmas present.

I know that I can get a bit over the top in my enthusiasm for self care, but that is only because I know how well it can work.  But much as I love the science and the logic and the clear ways out of pain, there is always room for just rolling around on the floor because it feels good! That is one of the main reasons I practice every day, because I love it - and I especially love how much better I feel afterwards. So that's the theme of todays class.  Practice because it feels good!

Bonus New Stuff:

Hands/Wrists/Elbows: For those of you who spend a lot of time at computers, or who have hand, wrist or elbow pain this is a great little session. It takes about 5 minutes and is easy to bring into your day.
