Dates & Times
Term 3 commences on Tuesday 18 July and concludes on Tuesday 19 September (no classes on 15 and 22 August).
Nic is travelling with Mel, Lou and Laura to the USA for 2 weeks to work with Biomechanist Katy Bowman MS. So while there will be a short break from classes - we will come back with all the latest in optimal movement health for you.

TERM 3 WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS
FEET & LOWER BODY
Tuesday 18th July
Starting at the foundation giving our feet some TLC…and strengthening and stretching. Covering the whole of the body but with special emphasis on strengthening the lower half (think fun squats, balances).
Tuesday 25th July
What influence does the position of the pelvis and how you stand have in how the pelvic floor functions? This class will provide you with information about pelvic floor dysfunction and strategies that can help with this problem-for women and men.
CORE & SPINE
Tuesday 1st August
Strength and ease around these key areas of the body. You know what your spine is, but what’s the “core”? Come and find out, investigating in your own body through strength and stretch.
SHOULDERS & UPPER BODY
Tuesday 8th August
We’ll aim to find that combination of easing tension and strengthening in an area of the body can carry a lot of our mental load but less of our lifting load these days.
STAND WITH STRENGTH & EASE
Tuesday 5th September
A general class using the 25 alignment points as a guide for bringing the body into an optimal, functional position for standing. Infused with the added teaching from my week residential with Katy Bowman. I don’t even know what you’ll get yet!
Tuesday 12th August
We will look at each of those areas (standing, walking and sitting) and practice strength and ease through corrective exercises.
STRETCH & STRENGTHEN THE...MIND!
Tuesday 19th August
Whilst working on stretching and strengthening the body we’ll explore obstacles the mind presents for getting to your daily movement practice and what the big picture might be for why you practice.

Tuesday 26th August
A combination of Somatics and Restorative Yoga to help you relax, release and let go for 90 minutes on the mat, then feel free to take it with you as you head out into Life.
